Here are a few helpful tips to put you on the right track …

Clothing and Accessories: We want to capture your personality. Find colors or trends that jump out at you. Are you urban chic? Playfully modern? Romantic and vintage? Buy some signature piece of clothing that expresses who you are – and who you and your fiancé are together. Sometimes the best shots of people are when they feel they’re being a little daring – so make a statement. Invest in a statement piece, or pieces for your engagement session. Be comfortable, but make a statement!

Hair and Makeup: We encourage our brides to have their hair and makeup professionally styled on the day of their engagement session. It gives an extra boost of self confidence and promises a gorgeous result. In addition to making you feel fabulous, you’ll be certain to feel more confident during your session and more pleased with the results afterwards. Location and Timing: Think about the kind of backdrop that expresses who you are, as well as places that are meaningful to you. We’ll gladly follow you to your favorite haunt or first date. Again, consider your wardrobe as you make this decision. Will your location choice reflect your sense of style, the feeling you’d like to have for your images? Try to leave time to relax together before your session. We don’t recommend coming straight from a hectic day at work. Go on a date, treat yourself to manicure, or go for a walk.
